Muratara Jasper is a relatively new, visually distinct jasper variety originating from Indonesia, specifically from the Sumatra region. It is characterized by its wild textures, vibrant, banded layers of colors such as red, orange, yellow, and blue/greys. It has a similar, yet unique aesthetic to some common and often coveted Porcelain Jaspers hailing from the US.
